India’s allegation – PM Trudeau doing anti-India politics for vote bank

Relations between India and Canada have seen a decline for more than a year. It started in June 2020 after the murder of pro-Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar. In September last year, PM Trudeau alleged in Parliament that the Indian agency was involved in Nijjar’s murder.

After this, Trudeau had accused Indian diplomats of involvement in the October 13 Nijjar massacre last month. After this India recalled its 6 diplomats including Sanjay Verma.

India says that the Canadian government’s allegations are baseless. Canada has not shared a single piece of evidence with the Indian government. They are making claims without facts. The Trudeau government is deliberately trying to defame India to gain political mileage.

India’s Foreign Ministry had said in a press conference last month that PM Trudeau’s enmity with India has been going on for a long time. His cabinet includes people who are openly associated with extremist organizations.
