The government has made 10 big announcements in this budget. Read the entire budget in point here …

1. Income tax

  • Under the New Tax Period, no tax will have to be paid on earnings up to Rs 12 lakh.
  • The limit of TDS for Senior Citizens has been increased from ₹ 50 thousand to ₹ 1 lakh.
  • The government will introduce a new income tax bill next week.

2. Cheap-cheaper

  • 35 additional Goods for EV battery manufacturing have been included in the list of examped capital goods. This can make EV cheaper.
  • Mobile phone has joined the list of 28 additional Goods Examped Capital Goods for battery manufacturing. This can make mobile cheap.
  • The government has removed custom duty from 36 life saving medicines. This will make these medicines cheaper.
  • Interactive flat panel display will be expensive. Custom duty increased from 10% to 20%.

3. farmer

  • Dhan Dhanya Yojana will start. Under this, 100 districts will be covered, where production is low.
  • Announcement of increasing the limit of Kisan Credit Card to Rs 5 lakh. Currently, the maximum limit of the card is Rs 3 lakh.
  • A 6 -year mission will be launched for self -sufficiency in the production of pulses.
  • Announcement of making Makhana Board. The farmers of Bihar will be helped in makhana cultivation.

4. Transition

  • Credit guarantee cover for MSME will be increased from 5 crores to 10 crore.
  • A new credit card of a limit of 5 lakhs for registered micro enterprises.
  • The scheme will be launched under Make in India for toy manufacturing.
  • The loan limit of PM self -representation scheme for street vendors will increase to 30 thousand rupees.

5. Education

  • All government secondary schools will be linked to broadband connectivity.
  • Excellence centers related to AI Education will be set up at a cost of 500 crores.
  • 75 thousand seats will be added to the medical college in 5 years. 10 thousand seats will be added next year.
  • The seats in 5 out of 6 IITs made after 2014 will double. 6500 new students will get admission.

6. Tourism and Connectivity

  • Plan to connect 120 new cities in the next 10 years through flight scheme.
  • Announcement of a plan to start Greenfield Airport Project in Bihar.
  • Partnership with states will develop 50 top tourist destinations.
  • Medical tourism will be promoted through the ‘Heel in India’ scheme.

7. Heart

  • Plan to build a day-care cancer center in all district hospitals in the next 3 years. In 2025-26, 200 days will be built.
  • Broadband connectivity will be provided at all primary health care centers.
  • Gig workers (who have a job temperament) will be linked to the Jan Arogya Yojana.

8. Infrastructure

  • State governments will get ₹ 1.5 lakh crore for infrastructure development. This will be an interest free loan for 50 years.
  • There will be 500 crore rupees to establish the Center of Excellence in AI.
  • New Asset Monettion Scheme for 2025-30. This will generate Rs 10 lakh crore to fund the infrastructure project.

9. Woman

  • It has announced to launch a new scheme for 5 lakh women and SC/ST entrepreneurs. Under this, there will be a cheap business loan.
  • For the first time entrepreneurs, the first time entrepreneurs will get a term loan of Rs 2 crore in 5 years.
  • Under the competent Anganwadi and Nutrition 2.0 scheme, 8 crore girls and 1 crore pregnant and breastfeeding women will get nutritional support.

10. Nuclear Mission

  • Announcement to start a mission to develop 100GW nuclear energy by 2047.
  • Active partnership will be done with the private sector to complete this mission.
  • Announcement of nuclear energy mission for research and development of small modular reactors.
  • By 2033, at least 5 indigenously developed small modular reactors will be operational.
