Seoul. North Korean soldiers are fighting against Ukraine on behalf of Russia. Dictator Kim Jong Un is continuously supporting Russia in every way in the war. Recently, on the lines of ‘suicide drones’ being used in the Russia-Ukraine war, the dictator has ordered its large-scale production in his country. The dictator told that these drones will be used to attack against enemy countries. After ordering mass production of suicide drones, Kim Jong Un held a meeting with army officials. During the meeting, emphasis was laid on enhancing North Korea’s military capabilities and strengthening defense measures. He also supervised the testing of suicide drone.

Suicide drone is also known as loitering munition. These are designed as “low-cost, small-sized drones”. Once these drones reach the target, they can destroy enemy targets using explosives. Kim Jong Un has described this type of weapons as very important for the army. According to North Korea’s state newspaper KCNA, ‘(Kim) stressed the need for mass production as soon as possible.’ Also, in view of the need for major changes in the dictator, along with practice, emphasis was also laid on education in the army.

These drones are highly accurate. After reaching near the target, they blow themselves up, due to which the target is destroyed. Kim Jong told that it can be used in a large-scale attack against the enemy. Kim Jong Un said that the use of these drones will not only strengthen the army but their deployment will also strengthen the defense of North Korea.

Russia is helping
The leaders of the two countries signed a partnership agreement in June, which also includes a mutual defense agreement. North Korean soldiers are fighting on behalf of Russia in the Russia-Ukraine war. North Korea has also deployed its troops on Russia’s western borders in the war with Ukraine. South Korean and US officials claimed that North Korean troops fought against Ukraine along with Russian forces.

The cost of suicide drones is much lower than other missiles and air strikes. They arm themselves and go near the target and detonate themselves. They take very less time to reach the target. Attack can be done from anywhere, sea, air or land. There are no humans in it, due to which the operators also remain safe from danger. At the same time, due to its small size, there is no risk of getting caught in radar.
