The entire team was all out in a short time after he was dismissed by scoring 123 runs. After this, there was a game of about two sessions in the match. Sinhalese Sports Club bowled 46 overs during this period. Dasun Shanaka did not land during fielding at the ground. A few hours later he was seen playing in the International League T20 (LT20) in Dubai. He scored 34 runs in 12 balls for Dubai Capitals in ILT20.

It is now learned that Dasun Shanaka left the match without telling the Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) or his Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC). After this, the Sri Lankan Cricket Board has signed an inquiry against him. Domestic Cricket Club Sinhalese Sports Club is also investigating against Shanaka. The club says that it was not aware that Shanaka had left the match and moved to Dubai.

It is reported that Dasun Shanaka suffered a head injury during a century innings. The doctor advised him to rest. In his place, another player landed as a conversion substitute.
