Trump confirmed this in an interview with Fox News on Monday evening. Trump said that he has spoken to Xi and his people. Trump said from the host Brett Bair of Fox News, ‘I like President Xi very much. I like to talk to them.
Trump further said, ‘I have talked to him and I also talk to his people. Their people often come. Trump also praised his personal relationship with Xi and said that he knows him better than any other people sitting in another corner of the world. However, Trump did not say when he had a conversation with Xi and which issues the two leaders have discussed. Trump has started his second term on 20 January. After this this is the first confirmation of conversation with Xi. There was a conversation between Trump and Jinping on 17 January. Both of them discussed from business to fennel and tickets.
