In the results of Delhi Assembly Elections 2025, BJP leader Pravesh Sahib Singh Verma has defeated former Chief Minister of Aam Aadmi Party Arvind Kejriwal in New Delhi Assembly seat. Know who is Pravesh Verma, so much educated
Pravesh Verma belongs to a major Delhi political family. He is the son of former BJP leader and Delhi Chief Minister Sahib Singh Verma. His uncle Azad Singh served as the Mayor of North Delhi Municipal Corporation and contested the 2013 assembly elections on a BJP ticket from Mundka seat.
Pravesh Verma was born in 1977. He studied Delhi Public School, R.K. He got a bachelor’s degree in Arts from Kirorimal College, Delhi University and then from Delhi University. Subsequently, he did his MBA from Four School of Management.
Entry in politics in the year 2013
His entry into politics took place in 2013, when he won from Mehrauli seat in Delhi Assembly. Subsequently, in 2014, he won from West Delhi Lok Sabha seat, and in 2019 he got a chance to win the election again, in which he won by 5.78 lakh votes.
During his tenure as his MP, he was a member of the Joint Committee related to the salary and allowances of Parliament and also worked in the Standing Committee on Urban Development.

Before 2025 Delhi elections, Pravesh Verma launched a campaign called “Remove Kejriwal, Save the country”. Under this campaign, he criticized the current Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government. He said that the government did not complete its primary commitment. He specifically raised questions about the administrative performance of the Delhi government, including issues like pollution, safety of women and development of civil infrastructure. He also described the government’s promise to clean Yamunaji as a big environmental challenge for the city.
