Veteran film maker of Hindi films K.C. Bokadia has been in discussion about making Film City for a long time. He bid for the tender of Film City being built in Uttar Pradesh, but did not succeed. He then met Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.

Bhajanlal Sharma also wanted a film city to be made in Rajasthan. He K.C. Considering the proposal of Bokadia, he also announced the allotment of land in Jaipur. How. Bokadia was also ready to register the land, but the matter could not be made on the occasion.

How. In an interview to Dainik Bhaskar, Bokadia has asked Bhajanlal government that when everything was going right, what happened in the end that the matter could not be made? Question- First tell about this project with Film City? answer– I always had a dream that Jeet ji should make a huge film city. I should make such arrangements there, which no one can hypothesize. We watch Ramoji Film City of Hyderabad and Film City of Mumbai. Why can’t we make one such film in City North India.

First I thought of making a film city in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. For this, the Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was talked about there. The conversation was positive, but due to some reasons the matter did not move forward. However, there is still an offer from there. This is about 2021.

Then in April 2022 I met Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. I went to UP in connection with the shooting of my film.

Question- Then what happened to the Idea, which made a film city in UP? answer– I was very impressed by meeting Yogi Adityanath. They find me a focused person. We spoke in detail about the film City in Noida. Then the government took out the tender. 4 companies bid for this.

Apart from me, companies of Boney Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar also bid. This result came in January 2024. Boney Kapoor won in it. We stayed second. Meanwhile, in August 2024, it was agreed to meet Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma ji.

Question- What concluded by talking to Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal ji? answer- Bhajanlal Sharma ji also wanted a film city in Rajasthan. I put a thing in front of him to make a film city. He said that you see the land, I am ready. On the same day, we also saw the land within 2-3 hours. I also liked a land. CM Saheb said that now you come and make a film city here. Everything was going right, then I do not know what happened that the matter stopped. Who did in the middle, I did not understand.

I want to ask Bhajanlal ji through you what happened that he stopped this project. Along with me, he also wanted a film city to be made in Rajasthan. This dream was not only mine, but also his.

Question- What happened that the matter got cold, did it talk to Bhajanlal ji again? answer- Not CM, but the officials below said very strange which I did not find right. However, I will not name anyone. I was ready to pay at that time. Was ready to register the land within 24 hours. I was not taking land on lease, giving full sense of it. The more demand was ready to pay as much money.

Despite all this commitment, why there was a hindrance, it is beyond comprehension. However, I am still ready for this project with body and mind. When it is heard that Bokadia Saheb does not have money, or his balance sheet is empty, then I feel bad. I would tolerate this when I really was unable to give money.

Bhajan Lal Sharma became the Chief Minister of Rajasthan for the first time in 2023.

Question- Why the desire to make a film city in Rajasthan, why not elsewhere? answer– I am a resident of Rajasthan. This place has given me a lot, now in return I want to do something here. I want people to learn this place for the film City as well. I want to make such arrangements to shoot Hollywood level films here. Also, I want to create a training institute. I want to give work to the local artists here.

I want to build a word class hotel. As you see Dal Lake in Kashmir, I want to make her replica here, so that the film makers do not have to go to Kashmir. If the film city becomes here, then how much tourism will increase, how much the government will benefit, it should also be thought.
