Trump and Mexico President Claudia Sheenbam announced a ban on tariffs after a conversation on Monday. Under this, Mexico has agreed to deploy 10,000 soldiers on the US-Mexico border. Trump said on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’ that after ‘very friendly conversation’, he agreed to stop the tariff immediately for a period of one month ‘.
Sheenbam talked to Trump to stop arms smuggling
Trump said that during this one month there will be further talks between the two countries, so that a ‘deal’ can be achieved. Earlier, Mexico President Sheenbam also announced a ban on tariff, saying that he had a ‘good conversation’ with Trump and honored the relationship and sovereignty between the two countries.

The development has come to light when Trump ordered 25% tariff on goods imported from Mexico and Canada and an additional 10% tariff on imports from China. These tariffs were going to be effective from midnight on Tuesday.
