Chungy Panday On Annaly: Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey worked in Vijay Devarakonda’s film ‘Liger’. Released in 2022, the film flopped at the box office. Now Ananya’s father Chunky Pandey has revealed that the actress told her about ‘Ligar’ that she is not ready for this. However, Chunky had advised him that he should do this film.
In an interview to Masable India, Chunky Pandey revealed that since ‘Ligar’, he stopped advising Ananya Pandey. He also talked about the daughter’s series ‘Call Me Bay’ and described himself as an old thinking.
‘She was unconfirmed’
Chunky Pandey said about ‘Ligar’ that Ananya Pandey was unknown to work in Vijay Devarakonda’s film. He said- ‘When he asked me if he should do this film, she was thinking that she is very young for this. He said that Papa, I am very young to do so. I said that you should do this. This is a commercial film, a big film but perhaps she was right. She was very young to do it. She was unconfirmed. He said that maybe I am very young for this. She was then confused.
Chunky Pandey refuses to ‘Call Me Bay’
Chunky Pandey further told that since ‘Ligar’, he did not put pressure on Ananya Pandey to do films. He said- ‘After that day, I never put any pressure on him. Maybe I was wrong. I belong to the old school. I do not know anything else. If he would have asked me, father, should I be bay? So I would have refused.
