US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Wednesday that he would not participate in the G-20 summit to be held in South Africa on 20-21 February. Marco Rubio says that he is taking this decision due to the land acquisition policies of the South Africa government and the anti -US attitude.
Rubio said in X post-

What is Dei program
Variety, equality and inclusive program (DEI) program in the US was run to end discrimination. The purpose of this program was to promote opportunities for women, blacks, minorities, LGBTQ+ and other low -representing groups. Musk has also warned South Africa
According to Reuters, the US had given assistance of about Rs 3.82 thousand crore to South Africa in 2023 for health programs, economic development and security cooperation. After Trump’s decision, the funding to South Africa may now stop soon and the US government can also investigate the case of human rights violations.
Donald Trump’s associate and South African billionaire Ilyon Musk has warned that this policy of Ramposa may have the same effect as the land in Zimbabwe in the 1980s. Which is considered to be the cause of Zimbabwe’s economic ruin.
