- Finance Ministry Asks Employees To Avoid AI Tools Like ChatGPT And DeepSeek

India’s Finance Ministry has asked its employee to avoid using AI tools such as chat GGPT and Deepcik for any office work. The government believes that such AI tools are a threat to government documents and privacy of data.
This information has been received from the Internal Department Advisory. Countries like Australia and Italy have also banned the use of DeepC, citing data security risk.
Advisory report surfaced on social media
The report of this advisory appeared on social media on Tuesday. The ministry’s advisory issued on January 29 states, “It has been decided that AI tools and AI apps (eg chat GPT, Deepcic) in office computers and devices are threatened to the confidentiality of government data and documents.”
There is no response to the ministry on the case so far
So far no response has been received from India’s Finance Ministry, ChatjiPT’s parent company Open AI and Dipcik. Three Finance Ministry officials said that the note was correct and an international was issued this week.
