Sydney. Jason Gillespie, who suddenly left the post of coach of Pakistan cricket team, has broken his silence regarding this. Former Australian fast bowler on Monday held Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) responsible for this. Gillespie said that the PCB kept him completely in the dark due to which he had to resign. Jason Gillespie’s contract was till 2026 but he resigned last week. Gillespie said that due to lack of communication he started feeling that the Pakistan Cricket Board did not need him.

Jason Gillespie told ABC Sports, ‘There were challenges. I went there with the intention of doing something. I knew that Pakistan had changed a lot of coaches in a short period of time. As the head coach, I wanted to have direct and clear communication with the board. But I was kept completely in the dark about not having a high performance coach.

IND vs AUS: Players are not happy in the dressing room! Veterans are angry in the commentary box, what is going on in Team India?

Danger of defeat looms over India, Rohit-Rahul will have to do the work done 20 years ago, then Laxman-Ganguly had shown strength.

The PCB did not extend the contract of high performance coach Tim Nielsen, who was brought in by Gillespie. Gillespie said, ‘Tim Nielsen was told that his services were not required and I was not given any information about this. A lot of things happened before this too but after this incident I started wondering whether I was needed or not.

Jason Gillespie had resigned just before the Pakistani Test team went on tour to South Africa. After this, the responsibility of Gillespie was handed over to Pakistan’s own Aaqib Javed. Aaqib Javed was already in South Africa with Pakistan’s ODI and T20 team. Now he will take up the responsibility of interim coach in the Test team. (input language)
