In the Perth Test, where no batsman of the team was able to score runs, he came and played such an innings which increased the concern of the Indian fans for some time. Victory seemed almost certain for India on the fourth day but this batsman’s half-century created a hurdle in the way. Team India declared the innings after scoring 487 runs for 6 wickets in the second innings and gave a huge target of 534 runs to Australia. In the first innings, India was all out for 150 runs while Australia was all out for 104 runs.

Travis Head showed great courage and played a fast-paced innings for host Australia, which was close to defeat in the Perth Test match against India. On the third day of the match, India managed to set a huge target of 534 runs in front of Australia on the basis of century innings by Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli. In the second innings, the team lost its 5 wickets for 79 runs but Travis Head stood firm at one end and helped the Indian bowlers cross the boundary.

For the Indian team, Travis Head emerges as a trouble-shooter for Australia in difficult times. Before this, he had become the reason for the defeat of Team India by playing century innings on two important occasions. Indian captain Jasprit Bumrah came and stopped his innings from reaching his century and got him caught by Rishabh Pant at the score of 89 runs.
