New York. The US has accused an Indian intelligence (RAW) agent of conspiring to assassinate Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, head of Sikhs for Justice and wanted in India. The Justice Department in Manhattan, America, has registered a case against Vikas Yadav, a former Indian Government official, for conspiracy to murder Pannu. Justice Department has released the photo of Vikas Yadav. Let us tell you that Pannu has been demanding separation of Punjab from India. The American agency has accused a person named Yadav of conspiring to commit murder on foreign soil. However, India has always denied that the accused is an Indian citizen.
Let us tell you that this controversy has arisen after the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada last year. Canada has been continuously alleging that the Indian intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) is involved in Nijjar’s murder. Recently the controversy has become so deep that Canada has expelled five people including India’s top diplomat. India has also expelled the same number of Canadian diplomats in response.

India accused of murder
After Canada, America has also accused India of murder of its citizen (India’s most wanted Gurupawant Pannu). He alleged that Indian intelligence agent Vikas Yadav had masterminded the conspiracy (although India has denied any involvement). In America, Yadav is also known as CC1. America told that both the countries shared intel about the murder of Nijjar in Canada and got information that Yadav was involved in it. While living in India, he hired contract killer Nikhil Gupta on our soil. After Nijjar’s murder in Canada, Yadav sent a message to Gupta about Pannu’s murder and called it a ‘priority’.
Allegation of contract killing
America had arrested Gupta from Czech Republic last year. He was extradited to America to stand trial. He was presented in court this summer. There Gupta declared himself innocent. He told that knowingly or unknowingly he had got involved in the bloody game. At the same time, American officials said that Yadav is still in India. America has accused both of them of conspiring for contract killing and money laundering. America said that we have a lot of evidence available which confirms the allegations.
