Actress Kangana Ranaut has shared a cryptic post on the release of Alia Bhatt’s film ‘Jigra’. In this post Kangana has talked about the decline of women centric cinema.
While sharing a story on Instagram on Friday, the actress wrote, ‘When you ruin a woman centric film and ensure that it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work… even if you make it. Read again.. thank you.

Accusations made against Karan Johar without naming him Even though Kangana did not take anyone’s name in this post, it is believed that her target is on Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt and their film ‘Jigra’.
Through this post, Kangana has also alleged that her women centric films like ‘Thalaivi’, ‘Dhakad’ and ‘Tejas’ also did not work because of Karan Johar.
The film ‘Jigra’ has been jointly produced by Alia and Karan.
‘Jigra’ earned Rs 4.25 crore on first day Alia and Vedang Raina starrer ‘Jigra’ is releasing in theaters on October 11. Made for Rs 90 crore, this film has done a business of Rs 4 crore 25 lakh on the first day. It has been produced jointly by Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt.
Kangana’s last 3 films were flops Kangana’s three women centric films released before this, ‘Thalaivi’, ‘Dhaakad’ and ‘Tejas’ were flops at the box office. ‘Thalaivi’ collected lifetime collection of Rs 1.46 crore, ‘Dhaakad’ collected only Rs 5 lakh and ‘Tejas’ collected Rs 4 crore 14 lakh.
Kangana’s last three films were women centric and all three were flops.
