The stock market made an all-time high today i.e. on 24th September for the fourth consecutive trading day. During trading, Sensex touched the level of 85,163 and Nifty touched the level of 26,011. However, after this the market came down and the Sensex fell by 14 points and closed at 84,914.
At the same time, there was a rise of only 1 point in Nifty, it closed at the level of 25,940. Metal and energy shares remained bullish. There was a decline in IT, banking and FMCG shares. Tata Steel shares were the top gainer of Nifty, rising 4.32%.
Second day of Manaba Finance IPO
The Initial Public Offering i.e. IPO of Manba Finance Limited will open from today (23 September). Investors will be able to bid for this IPO till September 25. The company’s shares will be listed on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on September 30. Read full news
Today there is a rise in Asian markets
- Asian markets are bullish. China’s Shanghai Composite Index rose 4.15% and Japan’s Nikkei rose 0.57%. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index also rose 4.13%.
- On September 23, the Dow Jones of the US market closed at 42,124 with a rise of 0.15%. The Nasdaq rose 0.14% to 17,974 and the S&P 500 rose 0.28% to 5,718.
- According to NSE data, foreign investors (FIIs) bought shares worth Rs 404.42 crore on September 23. During this period, domestic investors (DIIs) also bought shares worth Rs 1,022.64 crore.
Yesterday the market made an all time high
Earlier yesterday i.e. 23rd September, the market had made a new all-time high for the third consecutive trading day. During trading, Sensex touched the level of 84,980 and Nifty touched the level of 25,956.
After this, the Sensex closed at 84,928 with a gain of 384 points. Nifty also gained 148 points and closed at 25,939. Today there was more rise in auto, FMCG and banking shares.
