Vijay Verma saw low phase
In a conversation with Bumble India, he said, ‘When I came to Mumbai, I saw a very financially low phase. When I did not have work and I was trying to think about work and where I stand. I was broken because I did not have work. This was a low phase and it lasted for years. It was just about survival and sometimes it was very bad.’
Along with this, he told about the time when he was dating when he had less money. He told, ‘I mostly dated when I had no money at all. If it was the first date and I asked the girl out, then I should behave well with her. This is the first rule. There were girls who would get angry if I paid the bill. You can suggest, but don’t come and go.’
When there was 18 rupees left in the account
While talking to Galatta Plus, the actor said, ‘I always keep my roles on top but once I was in my low phase. I had no money. I had only Rs 18 in my account. At that time, I got a call for a role. They said that there is a role of a small reporter. There is one day’s work and I will get Rs 3000. I never wanted to do such a role, but I took it. I went and started shooting. My heart was not there. I was fumbling in the takes.’
