Social worker Shanti Lakra and her 5-year-old son Ansh Lakra, who came from Pagura village of Sikri Panchayat in Jari block of Gumla district, met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Chief Minister’s residential complex located on Kanke Road Ranchi. Ansh Lakra presented a piggy bank to the Chief Minister on the occasion. Shanti Lakra told the Chief Minister that as soon as Ansh Lakra came to know that Hemant Soren has gone to jail, Ansh Lakra started depositing some money in the piggy bank from his pocket money from that day itself so that that money could be used to help in getting Hemant Soren released from jail. Hearing this, CM Soren looked very emotional and started caressing the child.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren is also very popular among children- Even children from remote areas of the state have a deep affection for Hemant Soren. The love and affection of 5-year-old Ansh Lakra of Pagura village in Gumla district for the Chief Minister can be gauged from the fact that to help release the Chief Minister from jail, this child saved money from his pocket money and deposited it in a piggy bank, so that the Chief Minister could be released from jail with this money.
