New Delhi. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has decided to send 3 of its players to India during the ongoing third Test match against Australia. All three are fast bowlers and they did not get a chance in the three matches played in the ongoing Test series in Australia. After returning home, these players will be seen playing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. The Vijay Hazare Trophy is starting from 21st December and will continue till 18th January. These players include Mukesh Kumar, Yash Dayal and Navdeep Saini who were kept as reserve players with Team India.

It was difficult for all three bowlers to get a chance in the remaining two Test matches against Australia. In such a situation, the Indian Board decided to release these bowlers. The board released these three first so that they could return to India and practice adequately before the Vijay Hazare Trophy. The Bengal team has given place to Mukesh Kumar in its squad. For the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Bengal has also included Mohammed Shami in its squad, who will be seen proving his fitness. Shami’s hopes of going to Australia are fading.
