YouTuber Bhuvan Bam’s web series ‘Taaja Khabar Season 2’ is streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar from tomorrow. This series has also been produced by Bhuvan Bam. Recently, YouTuber talked to Dainik Bhaskar about this series. Bhuvan Bam talked about the challenges regarding this series. At the same time, he told that becoming a producer was his compulsion.
Question- What kind of challenges came in ‘Taaja Khabar 2’?
answer– After the first season, it had to be proved what could be better than before. This was realized while writing the script and shooting. The biggest challenge was to live up to the expectations of the platform and myself. The aim was to prove to the audience what could be a little better than before. It is a matter of happiness for me that the OTT platform has shown confidence in us. We are bringing the latest news season 2.
Question- You are also a producer of the series, what was the reason for becoming a producer?
answer-You can call it my compulsion. I had to act. I couldn’t wait for a producer to give me a chance. We opened our own production house. First made a short film ‘Plus Minus’. We released it on YouTube. Which received the Filmfare Award for Best Short Film in the Short Film category. We got motivation from there. The producer is our tag, the rest of the work is handled by the team. But this is a job of great responsibility. Now even relatives have started taking our work seriously. Earlier they used to say that he makes videos for YouTube.
Question- As you said that you could not wait for the opportunity outside, did you ever try?
answer- I tried so hard. But the process of getting the work. Our creativity was taking a hit in that. He is bearing the losses and profits in his own production house. Also learning. If you learn the art of production well then all other work becomes easy. As far as acting is concerned, my only curiosity is to join a project and work for 40-45 days. After taking leave from there, I come back and look for new stories. There is a lot of difference in creating content for YouTube and OTT.
Question- What was the reason behind joining YouTube?
answer- Earlier I thought that YouTube channel was for Bollywood movies and trailers. But someone told me that Google pays. That was a surprise moment for me. Earlier I used to upload my videos on Facebook. At that time I had no idea about YouTube. I created a YouTube channel and uploaded as many videos as I could on Facebook. Uploaded all that on YouTube. At that time not many people even knew about YouTube. Couldn’t even say at home that a career can be made in this also.
Question- When you told your parents about joining YouTube, what was their reaction?
answer- 8-10 years ago we could not have imagined that a career could be made in this. At that time we could not even tell our family members. I told the parents that for 10-12 years it remained as you wanted. Now give me two years. No one raised any question on that matter. Everyone said that do whatever you want, but do not fall into wrong habits. It’s a very strange world outside. When the first check came from YouTube, the parents were very happy. Then he felt that a career could be made in this also.
