Gold and silver prices fell for the fourth consecutive trading day yesterday i.e. on September 4. According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold fell by Rs 199 to Rs 71,295 on Wednesday.

Silver fell by Rs 941 to Rs 81,337 per kg. Earlier on Tuesday, silver was at Rs 82,278 per kg. This year, gold has reached an all-time high of Rs 74,222 per 10 grams in May. Silver, on the other hand, reached its all-time high of Rs 94,280 per kg on 29 May.
