Sports Desk, Indore. Pakistan Women Squad For T2O World Cup 2024: The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 will be played in the UAE in the month of October. The first match of the tournament will be played between England and South Africa on 3 October. The Indian women’s team will start its campaign against New Zealand on 4 October.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the 15-member squad for the World Cup. PCB has appointed 22-year-old fast bowler Fatima Sana as captain, who will replace Nida Dar. Pakistan’s performance in the Women’s Asia Cup held in Sri Lanka was poor. Due to this, there has been a change in captaincy before the T20 World Cup.
Fatima Sana was made the captain of T20
Fatima Sana will be seen captaining in T20 cricket for the first time. Earlier, she has led the team in two ODI matches, in which Pakistan lost one and in one match Pakistan defeated New Zealand in the Super Over. Fatima has played 29 international T20 matches for Pakistan, in which she has taken 24 wickets. At the same time, she has taken 45 wickets in 34 ODI matches.

PCB has made one change in the squad participating in the Asia Cup. Batsman Sadaf Shamas has returned. She has replaced wicketkeeper Naziha Alvi. Naziha has been selected as a traveling reserve player.
