Indian cricket team may get a batting coach.
New Delhi. Many famous Indian batsmen including star batsmen Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma flopped with the bat on the Australia tour. As a result, Team India had to face defeat 1-3 in the 5-match Test series. The Board of Control for Cricket in India is worried about the poor batting of the Indian team. BCCI can appoint a new batting coach for Team India. This batting coach could be a legendary cricketer of India. Whose name may be approved soon. However, there has been no official announcement for this even from the Indian Board. But it is being said that this has been discussed in the review meeting between BCCI and the team management. The board is considering the names of domestic cricket greats.
At present, apart from head coach Gautam Gambhir, the coaching staff of the Indian team includes Morne Morkel who is in the role of bowling coach while Abhishek Nair is the assistant coach. Ryan de Doeschate is also in the role of assistant coach while T Dilip is the fielding coach. Team India is being heavily criticized after India’s shameful defeat on Australia tour. Along with the Indian batsmen, people are also criticizing the coaching staff. Especially questions are being raised about Virat Kohli getting out in the same manner. Veterans say that what the people involved in the support staff are doing is that Kohli is losing his wickets in the same manner again and again.
