According to officials, at these airports, the airlines send information about baggage delivery belts, changes in flight timings or any other important information to the passengers on their mobile phones through MMS. Apart from this, information about flight movements is given through LED screens.

The aim of these airports is to provide a peaceful travel experience to the passengers. Announcement is made in emergency
It is not that there is no announcement of any kind at the silent airport. There are complete arrangements for announcement at these airports also. However, in case of emergency or security related information is given only through announcement. However, this happens only occasionally. In the airports which have been included in the category of silent airports, there has been a 20 to 30 percent reduction in the noise level.
