VVKWWV VS Jigra Collection Day 16: ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ and ‘Jigra’ were released simultaneously in theatres. Both the films were released on October 11 and now it has been 16 days since their release. Be it Rajkumar Rao and Trupti Dimri’s ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ or Alia Bhatt’s ‘Jigra’, both the films are seen struggling to earn a few lakhs in the third week. However, the collection of both the films has increased on the third Saturday.

According to Sacknilk, ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ had earned Rs 27 crore in the first week and Rs 10.15 crore in the second week. The collection of the film on third Friday was only 65 lakhs. Now on Saturday (16th day) the collection of ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ increased and it did a business of Rs 1.20 crore in India.


‘Jigra’ earnings increased again on third Saturday
Talking about the collection of ‘Jigra’, the film is slow at the box office since the first day. The collection of Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina’s film in the first week was Rs 22.45 crore. In the second week the film earned Rs 6.85 crores, while on the third Friday it was reduced to Rs 40 lakhs. The earnings of ‘Jigra’ have increased on Saturday and the film has earned Rs 70 lakh.


‘Vicky Vidya’s video’ inches away from budget
‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ has done a total business of Rs 39 crore at the domestic box office in 16 days. According to many media reports, the budget of the film is Rs 40 crores. That means Rajkumar Rao’s film is now just inches away from clearing its budget. Whereas the budget of ‘Jigra’ is said to be Rs 80 crore. ‘Jigra’ has earned a total of Rs 30.40 crore so far, which is not even half of its cost.
