New Delhi. Uttar Pradesh’s middle order batsman Mohammad Aman will lead the Indian team in the 50-over ACC (Asian Cricket Council) Under-19 Asia Cup. This tournament will be organized in the United Arab Emirates at the end of this month. India will start its campaign against Pakistan on 30 November in Dubai. The Indian team has some great players who have performed well in domestic cricket. Mumbai’s Ayush Mhatre, Bihar’s Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Tamil Nadu’s C Andre Siddharth, Kerala’s leg spinner Mohammed Annan along with Karnataka’s batsmen Hardik Raj and Samarth Nagaraj have been selected in the team.
Apart from India and Pakistan, Group A includes Japan and host UAE. Group B has teams of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Nepal. Before the tournament, India will face Bangladesh in a practice match in Sharjah on 26 November. The semi-finals of the tournament will be played on December 6 while the final will be played on December 8.
