Washington: Donald Trump has won the US presidential election with an overwhelming majority. He defeated Kamala Harris. Now he is preparing for his second term. He has already disposed of Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris, now it is the turn of the opposition leaders of his own party. During the elections, there was opposition to Trump even within the Republican Party. Trump is now preparing to meet this challenge. He has also indicated this.
Donald Trump has said that he will not offer Nikki Haley or Mike Pompeo a job in his administration. He is forming his cabinet after his landslide election victory over Vice President Kamala Harris. “I greatly enjoyed and appreciated working with him in the past, and would like to thank him for his service to our country,” he wrote in a post on social media.

Haley had lashed out at Trump
Trump’s closest allies have accused Haley and Pompeo of being so-called deep state moles, arguing that they would conspire to undermine his ‘America First’ agenda. During the Republican primaries earlier this year, when the party’s voters were deciding who would be their flag-bearer at the White House, Haley was Trump’s strongest challenger in a crowded field of contenders. During the election campaign, Haley, the former governor of South Carolina, harshly criticized her former boss – at one point even calling him “crazy.”
Trump is lobbying against both
While it is not surprising that Haley was not shortlisted for the role, Pompeo, a former CIA director, was widely seen as a contender for defense secretary. The former Kansas congressman led Trump’s diplomatic offensive in the Middle East and frequently clashed with the press in defense of his boss. But Trump is lobbying against Pompeo and Haley, influential voices within the world.
They include senior political strategist Roger Stone, who wrote on his website on Friday that Trump should be wary of “neocons” who could create “a sinister fifth column” within his new administration. Stone took the names of Haley and Pompeo. Also on Saturday, the Trump campaign announced that the presidential inaugural committee will be chaired by two longtime Trump allies: Steve Witkoff, a real estate investor, and Kelly Loeffler, a former Georgia state senator.
