Former US President Donald Trump has targeted singer Taylor Swift. Trump has targeted Taylor Swift on the social media platform Truth Social. ‘I Hate Taylor Swift’ Trump’s post came in response to an Instagram post by Taylor Swift.
Taylor Swift posted in support of Kamala Harris after the presidential debate on September 11 (Indian time). In this post, Taylor also refuted the AI generated video that had been viral for a few days, in which she was seen supporting Trump.
Taylor wrote in the post that the video was fake. I have decided that in the presidential election to be held in November 2024, I will vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Kamala and Tim are candidates from Trump’s rival Democratic Party.
Truth Social is Trump’s own social media platform.
Taylor called Kamala a warrior Taylor Swift praised Kamala Harris and called her a warrior, stable and talented leader. She talked about achieving a lot in the country through peace instead of chaos. According to news agency PTI, Taylor’s comment on chaos was made while targeting Trump.

What Taylor Swift’s support means Speaking to news agency PTI, Emma Shortis, a former lecturer at Melbourne’s RMIT University, said that Kamala Harris could benefit from Taylor Swift’s support in the presidential election. According to Shortis, a large group of American white women who are fans of Taylor Swift may go in support of Kamala.
Taylor has 284 million followers on Instagram. This number is huge in itself, so its effect can be seen in the presidential election. However, this is not the first time that Taylor Swift has spoken on political issues. Earlier also, in the mid-term elections held in 2018, she had asked the Republican Party to vote against Tennessee’s Senate candidate Marsha Blackman.
According to Emma Shortis, Taylor’s support for the Democrats is not a surprise. Kamala Harris’s team has come forward vocally on the issues of reproduction and women during their election campaign. Since 2019, Taylor Swift has also been talking about these through songs. Because of this, her fans are also in support of Harris and Walz.
