The new Maruti Swift has been launched at an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 6.5 lakh. At the same time, the price of its top variant goes up to Rs 9.65 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Swift will be available in five variants – LXi, VXi, VXi (O), ZXi and ZXi +. At the same time, you will be able to buy it in nine different paint options. Hybrid Engine
The company says that the new Swift is a unique combination of innovation, technology and sustainability. The new generation Swift is equipped with a 1.2 liter Z-series mild hybrid engine. The company claims that it is more fuel efficient than before. This engine generates 82hp of power and 108 Nm of torque. The engine is equipped with a manual gearbox as well as a CVT transmission.
Safety improved than before
In the new Swift, the company has taken full care of the safety of the customers. It has been provided with safety features like 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts with seatbelt reminder on all seats, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Assist, Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist (BA). The special thing in this is that all the features are available as standard, that is, these features will be available in the base model as well as the top model of Swift.

The mileage of the new Maruti Swift is quite impressive. The company has claimed a mileage of 25.75 km/liter which is 14% more than its old model. With this figure, it is the most fuel efficient hatchback in its segment.

Apart from the new design, Swift is now equipped with more advanced features and technology than before. It has a 22.86 cm (9 inch) SmartPlay Pro Plus infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. To improve the sound, the company has installed a music system with ARKAMYS surround sense in it. Apart from this, features like wireless charger, Suzuki Connect with advanced vehicle information and alerts are also included.
Improvement in dimensions
The new Swift is 3,860 mm in length, 1,695 mm in width and 1,500 mm in height. It is 15 mm longer, 30 mm taller and 40 mm wider than its old model. However, the company has not changed its wheelbase.
