After bowling out the opposition Mongolia for just 17 runs, Hong Kong registered a historic win with 110 balls to spare at the loss of one wicket. This is the third-largest win by a team in terms of balls in T20 International cricket. Fast bowler Ayush Shukla created history in Hong Kong’s memorable win. Ayush bowled all his four overs maiden.

In the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier match, Hong Kong won the toss against Mongolia and decided to bowl first. In the match played on Saturday at Bayumas Oval in Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong bowlers dominated the Mongolian batsmen. As a result, the entire Mongolian team returned to the pavilion after scoring 17 runs in 14.2 overs. No batsman of Mongolia could touch the double digit figure. Chasing the target of 18 runs, Zeeshan Ali scored an unbeaten 15 runs for the Hong Kong team while captain Nizakat Khan returned unbeaten after scoring one run. Ayush Shukla, who confirmed his place in the Hong Kong team at the age of 21, has played against India. In the Asia Cup 2022, Ayush sent Indian team captain Rohit Sharma to the pavilion. This was the biggest wicket of Ayush’s career. Ayush was born in Palghar district of Mumbai.
