The son because of whom his mother fell ill, made it to Team India, father told the story of his difficult times

New Delhi. The Indian team will play a two-match Test series against Bangladesh from next week. The Indian team was announced for this on Sunday evening. The team also includes the name of fast bowler Yash Dayal, who got hit for six consecutive sixes by Rinku Singh in the Indian Premier League. This is the first time this left-arm bowler has got a chance in Tests. Father Chandrapal told the story of his son going through a difficult time after getting hit for sixes during the IPL. He also told how the mother also fell ill after seeing the condition of the son.

Chandrapal said, “Yash started living alone due to despair and his mother Radha became so upset that she fell ill. She refused to eat food. Gujarat Titans also released him and he was faced with the challenge of making a career again. During this time Yash also fell ill but we never let him think of giving up. We, as a family, made a pledge and told Yash, ‘Until you (Yash) play for India, we will stand firm. You have to not give up and keep playing for India.'”

“I and my family will keep motivating her to make sure she never thinks of giving up. And today everything is in front of you,” he said with a proud voice.

Chandrapal gave the example of Stuart Broad and said that this England bowler was successful in taking 600 Test wickets after conceding six sixes in an over. He said, “We explained to Yash that this is not the first time this has happened, and it will not be the last time either. Yuvraj Singh hit six sixes on Stuart Broad and Broad emerged as one of the greatest gauge bowlers of all time.”
