Gauri said in the video that the intelligence agencies of the Government of India and the ED are targeting their properties. This is weakening their sleeper cell network. She threatened that we will come back and shake up the government.
According to reports, Gauri had uploaded this video on Telegram three weeks ago.
Gauri is also accused of operating ISI’s terror module in India.
Gauri is a suspect in Rameshwar Cafe blast
On March 1 this year, there was a blast at Rameswaram Cafe in Bengaluru, Karnataka. 10 people were injured in this blast. The investigating agency NIA had arrested two main accused in this case, Abdul Matin Taha and Musavir Hussain Shajib.
According to the NIA, on March 1, Shajib had placed the IED in the cafe, while Taha had prepared the entire plan. Two accused were arrested from Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal.
People were eating in the cafe at the time of the blast.
Both the terrorists were members of the Islamic State module in Shivamogga, Karnataka. Farhatullah Gauri and his son-in-law Shahid Faizal have a large sleeper cell network in South India. Gauri’s son-in-law Shahid was in contact with both the attackers before the blast in the cafe. He was also the handler of this blast.
Gauri is the mastermind of Akshardham attack
According to the Home Ministry’s website, Faratullah Gauri is also known as Abu Sufiyan, Sardar Sahib and Faru. He is accused of carrying out many terrorist attacks in India. Gauri had attacked the Akshardham temple in Gujarat in 2002, in which more than 30 people were killed. At the same time, 80 people were injured.
On the other hand, his name also came up in the suicide attack on the task force office in Hyderabad in 2005. Gauri is recruiting jihadis online. Last year, Delhi Police had given this information after arresting three terrorists from Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
