The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is all set to announce Team India for the ICC Champions Trophy on January 18. BCCI itself gave this information by issuing an advisory.

New Delhi. This question is in the mind of every fan when will the Indian team come for the Champions Trophy. But now its date has come. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is all set to announce Team India for the ICC Champions Trophy on January 18. BCCI itself gave this information by issuing an advisory. The team will be announced at 12:30 pm under the leadership of selector Ajit Agarkar. Captain Rohit Sharma is also expected to be present in it.
The team for the three-match ODI series against England will also be announced in the press conference. The ODI series against England will be like a rehearsal for the Champions Trophy and hence the team is likely to be the same for both the series. In the Champions Trophy, India has been placed in Group A along with arch-rivals Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh. The Men in Blue will play their first match against Bangladesh on 20 February and then face Pakistan on 23 February.
India’s last group stage match will be against New Zealand on March 2. Team India will play all its matches at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai. The tournament will start on February 19 with the match between hosts Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi. The first semi-final will be held on March 4 in Dubai while the second semi-final will be held on March 5 at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
