He is wanted in more than 50 cases of murder, attempt to murder, forced recovery and terrorist acts in India. He was declared a terrorist in January 2004.
Anmol Bishnoi: Anmol Bishnoi is the younger brother of Lawrence Bishnoi. He is wanted in many high-profile cases in India. These include the killings of Punjabi singer Sidhu Mouswala and politician Baba Siddiqui. He was arrested last November to enter the country without legitimate documents in the US.
Vijay Mallya: Vijay Mallya is a case of loan default of more than Rs 9,000 crore. He left India in 2016. He is currently in the UK. Kingfisher is wanted in India for fraud after the collapse of Airlines. He was declared a fugitive in 2019.
Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi: Both Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi have been a diamond merchant. Both are the main accused in the PNB loan fraud case worth Rs 14,000 crore. Both left India in 2018. Both were arrested in London the same year. Nirav Modi now has no choice against India’s extradition. Mehul Choksi is now in Antigua.
