Syrian rebel faction Tahrir al Sham (HTS) leader Abu Mohammad Al Julani on Wednesday ended the constitution in Damascus and declared himself President. According to the Syrian news agency SANA, Commander Hasan Abdelghani said that Julani will remain in the presidency until the country has complete stability.
Abdelghni said that the Parliament of Syria has also been dissolved. The President will form a temporary Legislative Council till the new constitution is implemented. However, there was no time limit for this.
Abdelaghani also said that all organizations and institutions associated with former President Bashar al-Assad’s bath party would be dissolved. Also, the Syrian government will control all their property.
Last month, Tahrir Al Sham (HTS) captured the capital Damascus by coup in Syria. With this, the 54 old rule of Asad family was over. The then President Bashar al -Assad escaped and took refuge in Moscow.
Leave medical studies, Julani associated with terror
Julani has studied in Damascus. He is also known as Ahmed al-Shara. Julani enrolled in the medical college in early 2000. When Julani, who grew up in a Liberal Islam atmosphere, reached the college, he encountered people having a strong Islam ideology.
In 2003, when he felt that America was about to attack Iraq, he got upset and left medical studies and went to fight the war. On reaching Iraq, Julani came in contact with al -Qaeda leaders. In June 2006, he was caught by the US Army and sent to jail.
Julani came in contact with people associated with Baghdadi while in jail. Julani was released in 2011. This year he carried out several attacks in Syria. Julani gathered 5000 fighters within a year. He then formed the Syrian branch of Al Qaeda Jabat Al-Nusra in 2012.

In 2017, Julani released a video and announced the formation of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). He said that his organization has no relation with any outside country or party. Teh Julani had said that his only objective is to liberate Syria from the Assad government.
In 2018, the US declared HTS as a terrorist organization and also placed a prize of $ 10 million on Al-Julani’s head. He got the biggest success in 2023, when he killed ISIS’s biggest leader Abu Hussain Al-Husaini in Syria.
How did Julani coup According to media reports, Julani started strengthening her fighters since the Syrian civil war stopped in 2016. With the help of people from Uygar Muslims in China to Arabia and Central Asia, he prepared his army.
He waited for the right time, which came due to Israel-Hamas Jung and Russia-Ukraine Jung. The war started in Ukraine in 2022 and Russia got busy there. Due to this, Russia expelled its soldiers from Syria.
Then in 2023 the war between Israel and Hamas began. As a result, Iran and Hizbullah who were helping Assad in Syria could no longer pay attention to them. Hizbullah became weak after the death of Hasan Nasrallah. Taking advantage of this, Julani spoke on the Syrian army and attacked the President in 11 days.
