The stock market witnessed a rise today i.e. on 30th July. The Sensex closed at 81,455 with a gain of 99 points. At the same time, the Nifty also rose by 21 points, it closed at 24,857.

Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, 16 rose and 14 fell. Out of the 50 Nifty stocks, 29 fell and 21 rose.

SEBI returned DRHP of 4 companies including Vishal Mega Mart
Stock market regulator Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has returned the draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) filed by four companies to bring IPO. These companies include Vishal Mega Mart, Avanse Financial Services, Sai Life Sciences and BMW Ventures.

SEBI has returned the DRHP of these four companies for non-compliance with Rule 7(1)(a) of SEBI ICDR Regulations 2018 till July 24, 2024. Along with this, SEBI has approved PN Gadgil Jewelers, KRN Heat Exchanger, Ecos India Mobility and Premier Energies to bring Initial Public Offer (IPO).

DRHP is a document that contains essential information about the company planning to bring an IPO. It is filed with SEBI. It contains important information about the company’s finances, its promoters, risks of investing in the company, reasons for raising funds, how the funds will be used, among other things.

Akms Drugs IPO opens today
The Initial Public Offer (IPO) of Akms Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited has opened from today. Investors will be able to bid for the IPO till August 1. The company’s shares will be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) on August 6.

Through this issue, the company wants to raise ₹1,856.74 crore. For this, the company is issuing 2.73 crore fresh shares worth ₹680 crore. Whereas, the existing investors of the company are selling 1.73 crore shares worth ₹1,176.74 crore through Offer for Sale i.e. OFS. Read full news

FIIs sold and DIIs bought

  • Tata Motors, HDFC Bank, NTPC and Power Grid pulled the market up. Whereas, ITC, Reliance, Bharti Airtel and ICICI Bank pulled the market down.
  • There was a mixed trade in the Asian market today. Japan’s Nikkei rose by 0.15% and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng fell by 1.37%. Meanwhile, China’s Shanghai Composite fell by 0.43%.
  • Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) sold shares worth ₹2,474.54 crore on July 29. During this period, Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) bought shares worth ₹5,665.54 crore.
  • On July 29, the Dow Jones of the US market closed down 0.12% at 40,539. NASDAQ closed at 17,370 with a gain of 0.071%. S&P 500 rose by 0.081%.

The stock market fell yesterday after making an all-time high
Earlier yesterday, on July 29, the Sensex made an all-time high of 81,908 and the Nifty of 24,999. However, after this the market declined and the Sensex closed at 81,355 with a gain of 23 points. At the same time, Nifty rose by 1 point, it closed at 24,836. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 17 rose and 13 fell. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 25 rose and 25 fell.
