Samsung Galaxy A56 spotted on TENAA certification
The alleged device is Samsung Galaxy A56. The certification revealed that the phone will ditch the long-standing design of its previous models, which featured separate rear cameras. Instead the A56 has a raised camera bar that houses the wide, ultrawide and macro cameras. At first glance the setup looks similar to the rear camera layout of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, with an LED flash on the right side.
On the front, the device looks similar to its previous model, with curved edges, thin bezels and a punch-hole selfie shooter at the top. However, a closer look reveals a small change. The device looks to have flat corners all around, except the top right, which has a raised key island. The TENAA listing does not reveal much about the specifications of the device. It is confirmed here that the phone will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and will have 4 cameras, three at the rear and one at the front.
Samsung Galaxy A56 Specifications
While the listing reveals limited information, previous reports have revealed that the Galaxy A56 will be powered by the Exynos 1580 chip. The phone has appeared on Geekbench with scores of 1,341 (single-core) and 3,836 (multi-core) with the same chip. It will come with Android 15 and offer 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB storage options. Talking about the camera, the Galaxy A56 will reportedly retain the same rear camera setup as its previous model, with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. However, the front camera can be a 12 megapixel sensor. The display will have an FHD+ 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED screen. Its 5,000mAh battery will reportedly support 45W fast charging.
