Russia-Ukraine War: Ukraine has taken Putin’s sleep away! First it sent its army into Russia, now it has carried out a drone attack on Moscow

Is the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine now turning around? First the Ukrainian army entered deep inside Russia till Kursk, while now Ukraine has carried out rapid drone attacks on Moscow. According to news agency Reuters, more than 11 drones were seen in the skies of Moscow alone. Russian officials have described it as the biggest drone attack on Moscow since the war began in February 2022. However, along with this, they claimed that all these drones have been shot down.

In fact, the war between Russia and Ukraine is mostly being fought in the villages, forests and fields of eastern Ukraine. It is rarely seen that drone attacks have taken place on Moscow, which has a population of more than 21 million.

Russia shot down 45 drones
According to news agency Reuters, Russia’s Defense Ministry said it destroyed a total of 45 drones over Russian territory, including 11 over the Moscow region, 23 over the border region of Bryansk, six over the Belgorod region, three over the Kaluga region and two over the Kursk region. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said some of the drones were destroyed over the city of Podolsk, about 38 kilometers (24 miles) south of the Kremlin.

“This is the largest attempt to attack Moscow using drones so far,” Sobyanin said on the Telegram messaging app early Wednesday. “Moscow’s strong air defenses successfully repelled all enemy UAV attacks,” he said.

This attack has come at a time when Russia is advancing in eastern Ukraine, where it occupies about 18% of the territory. Russia is also struggling to stop Ukraine’s intrusion in the Kursk region. This is the biggest attack on Russian territory since the Second World War. In such a situation, after the Ukrainian army entered Kursk, Russia, this drone attack in Moscow is now being seen as the latest example of Ukraine’s aggressive attitude.
