Reliance AGM: RIL’s 47th AGM will begin at 2 pm, announcement of IPO of Jio Infocomm and Reliance Retail possible


Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) will hold its 47th Annual General Meeting today i.e. Thursday (29 August) at 2 pm. Company chairman Mukesh Ambani will address this meeting through video conferencing. Meeting can be joined through Jio Meet. Reliance Jio Infocomm as well as Reliance Retail’s IPO can be announced in this meeting. Discussions have been going on about this for a long time. Apart from this, the stock market will also focus on the update of the company’s future plans regarding news energy business.

Reliance shares rise marginally, trading near 3000

There is a slight increase in the shares of Reliance before the AGM. The stock is trading at around Rs 3000 today. Reliance shares have given a return of 23% in one year. Whereas the stock has risen only 2.50% in 6 months. Whereas the shares have fallen by about 1.5% in one month.

Profit of Rs 15,138 crore in the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25

A month ago, Reliance Industries released the results for the April-June quarter. The company has earned a profit of Rs 15,138 crore in this quarter. There has been a 5.45% decrease in profit on an annual basis. In the same quarter a year ago, the profit was Rs 16,011 crore. At the same time, the company’s income (revenue) in the April-June quarter was Rs 2,36,217 crore. In the same quarter a year ago, the company had generated a revenue of Rs 2,10,831 crore. That is, there has been an increase of 12.04% on an annual basis.
