New Delhi: Donald Trump has won the US presidential election. Congress leader and Lok Sabha opposition leader Rahul Gandhi wrote a letter to Trump congratulating him on his victory. He also wrote a letter to outgoing Vice President Kamala Harris. In his letter, the Congress leader praised his enthusiastic presidential election campaign.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, in a letter to the newly elected President of America, congratulated Donald Trump on his second election victory and talked about stronger relations between India and America in the second term of the Trump administration.

Rahul said, “India and America have a historical friendship, which is based on our commitment to democratic values. Under your leadership, we are confident that our countries will deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.” “I also hope that we will continue to work toward expanding opportunities and possibilities for both Indians and Americans,” he said.
Rahul praised Kamala Harris
Rahul has written in his letter, “I want to congratulate you for your passionate presidential campaign. “Your unifying message of hope will continue to inspire many.” The letter further said, “As Vice President, your (Kamala Harris) determination to bring people together and find common ground will be missed.” The letter ends with, “I wish you all the best for your future endeavours.”
