India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has also signed an agreement with Singapore to strengthen the semiconductor ecosystem. Under this, semiconductor clusters will be created in the country and people will be trained in semiconductor design and production.

PM Modi was on a visit to Brunei before Singapore Before his visit to Singapore, PM Modi visited Brunei on 3 and 4 September. During this, PM held a bilateral meeting with Brunei Sultan Bolkiah on Wednesday. Important issues like defence, trade, education, technology and health were discussed between the two leaders.

MoUs were also signed between India and Brunei after the delegation level meeting. They welcomed the decision to start direct flights between Bandar Seri Begawan and Chennai.

Apart from this, the two leaders also discussed regional and global issues. During this, they agreed to work for the development of ASEAN countries. The Sultan of Brunei also hosted lunch in the world’s largest palace ‘Istana Nurul Iman’ in honor of PM Modi.
