PCB chairman came to his senses after the shameful defeat against Bangladesh, said- I will fix Pakistan cricket

Lahore. The Pakistan cricket team suffered a humiliating defeat at home against Bangladesh. For the first time in cricket history, Bangladesh defeated Pakistan in a test match. This defeat was not an ordinary one but by 10 wickets. After the humiliating defeat, Pakistan cricket is being criticized from all sides. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) President Mohsin Naqvi has talked about changes after the defeat. Talking about fixing the problems after the crushing defeat against Bangladesh in the first test on Monday, he said that changes are going to happen.

Former players like Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Hafeez and Fawad Alam criticised the team for its 10-wicket defeat to Bangladesh in Rawalpindi on Sunday. Speaking to the media, Naqvi said, “I will fix the problems in Pakistan cricket. And changes are going to happen in Pakistan cricket.”

Hafeez took a dig at Naqvi by reminding him of his comment about making a big change in Pakistan cricket during the World Cup. When the Pakistani team was knocked out of the World T20 Cup after losing to India, Naqvi had said, “Initially I thought a small change would be enough. But after this poor performance, it is clear that a big change is needed. There will be big changes in the country’s cricket soon.”

However, no changes have been made in the team and the same senior players took the field in the first Test against Bangladesh under the captaincy of Shan Masood. Naqvi said that things will change in Pakistan cricket.

Shameful defeat of Pakistan team

In the first innings of the Rawalpindi Test, Pakistan declared the innings after scoring 448 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. After this, Bangladesh scored 565 runs and gained a big lead. In the second innings, the entire Pakistan team was able to score only 146 runs. Bangladesh achieved the target of 29 runs without losing any wicket and registered a Test win against Pakistan for the first time.
