Pakistan security forces killed 30 terrorists in three different encounters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. According to ARY News, the army conducted a secret operation against the terrorists in different locations in Khyber on Friday and Saturday.
The first encounter took place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where Pakistani troops killed 18 terrorists, while 6 were injured. At the same time, 8 terrorists were piled up by running the operation in Karak district. The third encounter took place in Bagh area of Khyber district. Here the army killed four terrorists, while two were injured.
Several weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the slain terrorists. Earlier on January 12, Pakistan’s security forces killed 9 terrorists in two different encounters in the North Waziristan districts.
Khyber province is the stronghold of Pakistani Taliban
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province is considered to be the most turbulent area of Pakistan. Here the terrorists of the Pakistani Taliban continue to target the Pakistani army. There has been tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan with this.
