New Delhi. Records are meant to be broken. You must have heard this saying. But even today there are many such records in cricket which have been waiting to be broken for years. Indian cricketers have also set many records but many of these are such records which are almost impossible to break. Star batsman Virat Kohli has a record in T20 International cricket which is rarely broken. Although Kohli is a pure batsman and has made many records in batting, but Kohli has achieved such a feat in bowling which has not been broken for many years. Kohli made this record in the T20 match against England in 2011. Then he created a stir in bowling. Kohli has done the charisma of taking a wicket on zero ball. In the year 2011, Virat bowled a leg side wide ball to Kevin Pietersen in the T20 match against England, while trying to play it, Pietersen got stumped out. Pietersen was given out on ball number zero.

Veteran captain Mahendra Singh (MS Dhoni), who won all three ICC trophies under his captaincy, also made many records in his name. Dhoni has the record of most stumpings in all three formats as a wicketkeeper. In his 15-year international career, Mahi made 195 stumpings at the rate of 1.363 dismissals per innings. Dhoni made 38 stumpings in Test, 123 in ODI and 34 in T20 International. There is no other wicket keeper even remotely close to this record of Dhoni. At second place in this list is former Sri Lankan wicketkeeper Kumar Sangakkara who has made a total of 139 stumpings in three formats including Test, ODI and T20.

Ricky Ponting is at third place in this list with 71 centuries. Team India captain Rohit Sharma played an inning of 264 runs in 173 balls against Sri Lanka, which is almost impossible to break.

Rahul Dravid, who is called the wall of Team India, is the only player who faced 31,258 balls in Test cricket. Dravid achieved this feat in 164 Tests. After Dravid in this list, the name of Sachin Tendulkar comes who faced 29,437 balls in his 24 years of international career. Dravid has spent 44,152 minutes and about 736 hours in Tests, which is a world record. Getting him out proved to be a difficult task for the bowlers.
