According to the report of Cricbuzz, the medical team of the National Cricket Academy is keeping a close watch on Shami. There was a slight swelling in his knee after the surgery, due to which it went away recently. Couldn’t fly to Australia for BGT.
BCCI selection committee members are also expected to attend the Vijay Hazare Trophy knockout matches in Baroda and take note of Shami’s performance. It is being said that there has been no significant impact on his bowling and there is no major problem in his knee either. Shami needs to get the green signal from NCA to return to Team India.
