MG Motor said that the recently launched Windsor EV with the option of battery rental has received a good response. For this reason, it is being brought for other EV models of the company also.
With the Windsor EV, MG Motors offered battery-as-a-service. This battery rental option will reduce the cost of the vehicle and users will have to pay only for the use of the battery. Customers using this service will have to pay Rs 3.5 per kilometer. The objective of this facility is to make electric vehicles more affordable. This electric crossover has connected LED lights on both the front and rear. It has 18-inch alloy wheels for better aerodynamics.
Charging port is provided on its front left fender. Windsor EV has been made available in four colors – Pearl White, Clay Beige, Turquoise Green and Starburst Black. Its cabin has been designed keeping in mind the experience of both luxury and technology. It has black leatherette seats. Its flat bottom steering wheel is also wrapped in leatherette. Bookings for Windsor EV will start from October 3 and deliveries will start from October 12. Reclining seats are provided in its rear. The Windsor EV has a 15.6″ touchscreen on its dashboard. Along with this there is an 8.8 inch digital display for the driver.
