Here the largest Shamsham ghat of Hindus is built in Lyari of Karachi. It is said that this Shamsham Ghat was built in the British era. According to a report, however, the material of cremation in Pakistan is not very expensive and available in every district, in such a situation, people of Hindu community have to bury the dead. However, their process is quite different from Muslims. In Hindus, they sit and bury it. After burying the dead body, a tomb of cone is made on it.

Where is immersion

In Pakistan, the bones of the Hindu community who are cremated are immersed in the rivers there. However, they have to wait a long time for bone immersion in the Ganges. Many Hindu families wish that the bones of their ancestors flow into the Ganges. In such a situation, one has to go through a long process to bring the bones to India.

More than 400 bone urn brought to India

Recently, more than 400 bone urn has been brought to India from Pakistan, which will be immersed in the Ganges River in Haridwar. These bones have reached India via the attic border. According to Mahant Ram Nath Mishra of Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple in Karachi, these bones had been kept in Pakistan for 8 years. He told that when the number of bones is enough, they are brought to India and immersed in the Ganges. After the partition of India-Pakistan, the bones have been brought to India after three. Earlier, bones have been brought in 2011 and 2016.
