Titanic Iconic Scene Shooting: Oscar winner Hollywood’s famous actress Kate Winslet has spoken openly about ‘Titanic’. During this, he also discussed the famous door scene of ‘Titanic’. While talking on Australian talk show The Project, the actress said that the ‘door’ shown in the famous scene of ‘Titanic’ was not actually a door. Rather it was another part of the set.
According to the report of People.com, when she was asked if there was a ‘room at the door’ for co-actor Leonardo DiCaprio, Winslet said that she knew that she would be asked this question in the interview. In the film, the character Jack Dawson was holding a piece of floating wood after the ship sank.
Winslet said- I knew that the next question would be about the door. People keep calling it a door, but it was not really a door.
The actress said that it was a piece of railing, like it was part of a staircase or something that had broken. Although, who knew DiCaprio could fit in there. I honestly don’t have any information that someone else hasn’t already tried to figure out.
Talking about the scene, he said that this scene has been a topic of discussion among the fans of “Titanic” and common moviegoers since the release of the film in 1997.
Could Jack have survived?
Titanic director James Cameron commissioned a scientific study to determine whether there could actually be room for both Jack and Rose on the floating wreck. When he and a team of scientists tapped two stunt doubles to recreate four different scenes. Director James Cameron said that Jack could have survived, but there were too many things involved. I think his thinking was that ‘I will not do anything that will endanger the life of others.’
