James Webb and Chandra Capture Images of Star Cluster NGC 602 in Distant Galaxies

After the arrival of the James Webb Space Telescope, space scientists are now peering far into the universe. This super powerful telescope has achieved another feat. The space telescope has taken an amazing photo from near the edge of the Small Magellanic Cloud galaxy, located about 2 million light years from Earth. Star cluster NGC 602 can be seen in this photo.

Near this constellation, space scientists have seen ionized gas with dense dust and clouds. This shows that the process of star formation is still going on here. But the interesting thing is that the way the process of star formation is going on in it is different from the area around it or the solar system. Data from the Webb Telescope reportedly shows that a wreath-like structure is forming around NGC 602. The data from the telescope on the basis of which this figure has emerged includes infrared and mid-infrared imaging.

It appears like a ring made up of dense clouds of dust. Green, blue, orange and yellow shades are visible in it. At the same time, Chandra X-ray observation shows a much brighter red hue in it, which indicates that a lot of energy is developing in the young stars and it is very large in size. It is believed that these stars are throwing powerful winds which are also illuminating the surrounding material. Small stars are contributing to the stretching of the light and creating an image that looks like a festival going on in the universe.

Apart from this, another constellation has appeared whose name is NGC 2264. This star cluster is 2500 light years away. It reveals many young stars which may be 10 lakh to 50 lakh years old.
