India close to winning the lost game, Nitish’s bat hit, Siraj- Bumrah chased away Australian batsmen

New Delhi. The fourth match of the 5-match Test series being played between India and Australia is turning out to be exciting. On the fourth day of the match, India lost 9 wickets for 228 runs in Australia’s second innings, thanks to the lethal bowling of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj. In the last day’s play, India would like to achieve the target by falling the last wicket as soon as possible. At present Australia has a lead of 333 runs.

The Indian cricket team changed the map of the Boxing Day Test match against Australia within two days. After scoring 474 runs in the first innings, the host team was once dreaming of following on but Nitish Kumar Reddy’s century did not allow this to happen. On the fourth day of the match, the deadly bowling of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj completely played out the match by tearing Australia’s batting order to pieces. By taking 1 wicket on the last day, India would like to stop Australia from setting a big target.

In the second innings against Australia, the pair of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj presented a tremendous bowling performance. After dismissing Sam Costance early, who took notice of the Indian bowlers in the first innings, Bumrah dismissed the dangerous Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh. Siraj completely turned the match in India’s favor by taking the wickets of Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith. On the fourth day, Bumrah took 4 wickets while Siraj had 3 wickets in his account.

At one time, the Indian team had lost 6 wickets at the score of 191 runs in reply to Australia’s 474 runs in the first innings. Coming here, 21 year old Nitish Kumar Reddy made a century partnership with Washington Sundar and took the match away from Australia’s grip. The youngster, who made his debut in this series, scored his first Test century in just the fourth match. The innings of 114 runs on 189 balls changed the map of the match.
